Staff and volunteers at The Crisis Center work hard everyday to meet the community’s needs. Throughout our programs, we are helping more people than ever before.
In order to keep up, we need more volunteers.
The best ways to recruit new volunteers is word-of-mouth from our current volunteers. In fact, 25 percent of new volunteers say they heard about our volunteer programs from other volunteers.
The Crisis Center already has tremendous support from hundreds of volunteers who give their time each and every week. Many have been coming for years – because they like the feeling of helping others.
The Crisis Center has a volunteer recruitment drive underway right now – do your part and tell a friend! Friday, February 17 is the deadline for new volunteers to apply for the Food Bank and Crisis Intervention training sessions.
Volunteers are the heart of The Crisis Center – help us grow our volunteer family by asking a friend to join.
