Start off 2018 right by setting aside more time to volunteer.
The Crisis Center currently needs new food bank volunteers to fill several openings, particularly during the daytime hours. These positions are great for students, retirees, and professionals with a few hours to spare at the same time each week.
Participating in a weekly volunteer shift can even boost your resume. It shows employers you care about others and can stick to a long-term commitment. (Plus, our staff might be willing to serve as a reference in the future!)
We ask that volunteers commit to nine months of weekly service.
Please apply only if you could take on one of our open, high-need shifts and can attend orientation on Saturday, Jan. 27. If you are interested, fill out the following application as soon as possible. Within a few days, you will receive a call so we can schedule an interview.
- Mondays: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (4 volunteers needed), 2 – 5 p.m. (4)
- Tuesdays: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (2), 2 – 5 p.m. (3)
- Wednesdays: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (1), 5 – 8 p.m. (2)
- Fridays: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (3), 2 – 5 p.m. (1)
