Your Life Iowa, a service of the Iowa Department of Public Health and CommUnity, provides confidential crisis counseling for kids, teens and young adults who are depressed or faced with an overwhelming challenge. Youth or people with questions or concerns about youth issues can call or chat 24/7 or use the text service 2-10pm. The website also has information about bullying and suicide prevention.

Teen Line is a teen-to-teen hotline and community outreach program offering information on their website and crisis counseling counseling through their phone, text and email crisis services. The hotlines are open every night from 8:00pm to midnight CT to help adolescents address their problems in a confidential, anonymous and comfortable manner. Text services are available 7:30pm to 11:30pm CT. No problem is too small, too large, or too shocking for the TEEN LINE volunteers.

ReachOut USA has information for teens and young adults about mental health issues such as being bullied, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts and self-injury as well as forums for users to communicate and support each other, blogs for sharing stories and referrals for getting help.
Very thorough informational site with info on all kinds of issues that teens face, including depression, bullying, drugs/alcohol, sexual health, etc.
National Runaway Safeline

The National Runaway Safeline is for helping minors who might want to run away from home, are on the run, want to come home or find themselves homeless. They offer crisis counseling, message relay, conference calling, help getting reunited with family and information and referrals. NRS is staffed by trained peer volunteer counselors dedicated to non-judgmental, collaborative and confidential support.
Covenant House offers a number of services for homeless youth, including shelter, street outreach, education programs and job training at their various locations across the United States. Their NINELINE phone and chat services are currently unavailable and the National Runaway Switchboard has taken over those services.
LoveIsRespect.org / National Dating Abuse Helpline

NDAH and loveisrespect.org offer information and one-on-one peer counseling about healthy vs. abusive relationships and dating/domestic violence. Young adult peer advocates staff their confidential helpline and text and chat services. The services are directed towards young adults, but no one is turned down.

The sites have a lot of great information on various youth issues, including bullying as well as forums for posting your questions and stories, plus tools, quizzes and games to help you relax, get things off your chest or practice positive thinking techniques. (Note: The Kids Help Phone hotline is only available to people in Canada)
