Happy Pride Month 2022!

June 1st marks the beginning of the month-long celebration of Pride!

Since Bill Clinton’s presidency, the month of June has been a month of celebration for the LGBTQ+ community with many parades and events located throughout the entire United States. Pride month honors the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, which “was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States” ( The first Pride march that happened in New York City occurred on June 28, 1970, and since then, there have been a multitude of marches happening all around the United States.
