Winter is a time to spread warmth and care. This December, help us provide food and household necessities to our neighbors in need! Collect an item on our 25 Days of Giving calendar each day to donate to CommUnity’s Food Bank at the end of the month. Feel free to hop around or go day-by-day.
Every item collected goes directly to Johnson County residents who visit CommUnity’s Food Pantry at Pepperwood Plaza. The calendar includes some of our most-needed items, treats and highly-requested items, and a few items that are meaningful to you.
To donate, drop items off at our Food Pantry at Pepperwood Plaza, located at 1045 HWY 6 E in Iowa City between December 27 – January 8 from 9 am – 4 pm. Food and household donations are no longer accepted at our administrative office.
