A Summer Resource for Families

I hope you are looking forward to the upcoming summer break with your kids. The thought of Summer break approaching could be bringing up a mixture of feelings, but remember that you can always call us when things get overwhelming! As the academic year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to remind you of a free, confidential resource available to you and your family during the summer months.

Summer can bring its own unique set of challenges and stressors, and it’s essential to prioritize the wellness and mental health of both you and your children. I want to assure you that our commitment to supporting the emotional needs of students and their families remains unwavering, even during the summer break.

We want to help! Mobile Crisis Response services exist outside of the school day and in fact, the majority of Mobile Crisis contacts occur out in the community. Mobile Crisis is an immediate crisis counseling service designed to provide rapid, non-judgmental support in times of crisis or when any urgent mental health concerns arise.

If you or your child is in need of immediate emotional support during the summer months, you can call Mobile Crisis Response at 1-855-581-8111, and a team of trained professionals will come out to your location to provide support and guidance. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and we encourage you to reach out whenever you feel the need. The Mobile Crisis team can offer support, de-escalation strategies, safety planning, and connect you with appropriate long-term community resources when necessary. We are here to listen, collaborate, and guide you through challenging times.
