Part-Time Food Bank Supervisor

Position Overview: The Food Bank Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the
Food Bank and Mobile Pantry programs. This position includes training and supervising and retaining
volunteers. The Food Bank Supervisor works collaboratively with other department staff to ensure
quality service delivery to clients, volunteers and donors.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Food Bank and Mobile Pantry Program Support, Volunteer management, and Client Service and
Operations

Requirements:
Ability to model for volunteers a client-centered, compassionate, non-judgmental approach
Ability to respond immediately and constructively to crisis situations in a calm, positive manner
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and electronic databases
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work with a flexible schedule
Valid driver’s license
Ability to drive a straight truck (or willingness to learn)Ability to pass background check

Desired Qualifications:
Bilingual, with fluency in Spanish, French, or Arabic preferred
1 year of experience in a volunteer-driven organization

Part-time, hourly position:
Tuesday – 3:30pm to 7:30pm
Thursday — 8:00am to 12:00pm
Friday – 11:30am to 5:00pm
Saturday – 8:00am to 2:30pm

$14.00/hour to $15.77/hour depending on experience
