Warm Hearts, Warm Homes

This winter is predicted to be colder than normal in Iowa. That means higher heating bills, house slippers, and fewer sledding days. But for many of our neighbors, low temps and high utility costs means facing dangerous living conditions this winter and financial crisis in the spring.

As prices rise, requests for housing assistance increase and our ability to meet the demand decreases.

Your gift to Warm Hearts, Warm Homes allows us to provide safe housing for families. Without your support, many of our neighbors would be without a safe place to call home. In fact, over 90% of our Financial Support funding comes from individual donors like you. As the need and cost for basic necessities increase, we need additional community support to sustain the level of requests we expect to receive this winter.

Your gift, no matter the size, will help provide stability for our neighbors during unpredictable times. While we’re unsure of what the future holds, we know for certain that if we can help our neighbors today, our community will be better off tomorrow.
